As Out to Swim grows as a Club we have an increasing number of swimmers who are interested in either open water swimming or long distance swimming.  Triathletes regularly train with the Club and now that we have the dedicated distance set on Thursday evening (7pm at Orchard Lisle) we can offer far more.

In 2009 we had 11 swimmers successfully cross the Channel in two relay teams.  Other swimmers are steadily doing the big swims, both in the UK and internationally.  We will be doing more to cater for our distance swimmers, both serious competitors and those of you who just enjoy a long steady swim.

Events in 2009

The big event was of course the cross-Channel relay swim undertaken by 11 swimmers, in two boats.  If you want to read more about this:
