Vicki Carter, one of our club’s founding members was awarded a British Empire Medal in this year’s King’s Birthday Honours.
Vicki is a tireless champion for diversity and inclusion and has helped many swimmers through their swimming journeys by being a tireless swim teacher.
Vicki is also a passionate open water swimmer and, amongst her many achievements, Vicki swam the Channel in 2019 and in 2025 circumnavigated Manhattan.
