Bike racks are in front of the pool. The pool is in easy reach of Brighton station and central bus stops. Please note that the car park has changed and now uses number plate recognition and requests you to pay by phone. However, you may register your car at reception and this will cost £1 per parking.
Disabled Access: The Prince Regent has disabled changing rooms and two disabled toilet areas. The main pool has a hoist, use of which will need to be requested to be used at reception on arrival. Please allow extra time beforehand to ensure you will be ready for the start of the session. There is also a lift to the upstairs viewing balcony area.
Inclusivity: The changing area consists of individual private cubicles within a shared mixed-gender space, allowing people to change comfortably and with privacy. Shower facilities include both open communal showers and private lockable shower cubicles, so individuals can choose the option that best suits their comfort and needs.

Sea Lanes and Sea Swimming
During the warmer months, we may also offer coached open water swimming sessions in the sea in Brighton and Hove and at Sealanes.
Swimming at Sea lanes and officially coached sea swimming sessions are not covered as part of the standard membership fees, and these incur a cost in addition to the membership fees, which will be shown when you register for these events.
It’s a beautiful way to enjoy Brighton & Hove- we are so lucky to live right by the sea! We also participate in the annual Pier to Pier swim competition and Brighton’s New Year’s day swim. We also work closely with the swimming community group the Salty Seabirds.
National and International Competitions
As OTSBH we take part in national and international swimming events and competitions. These include the Bristol Gala and the Gay Games in Valencia in 2026. Taking part in regular swim sessions will help you train to take part in these events if you would like to enter. Or you can be part of our supporters’ group and travel to the events and enjoy the atmosphere of being part of a team.
