Out To Swim Brighton & Hove

Out To Swim Brighton & Hove (OTSBH) is an LGBTQ+ and allies Masters Swimming Club based in Brighton & Hove. We are a group of sociable LGBTQ+ swimmers who swim for fun, for fitness and/or to compete. We provide a friendly environment for those who enjoy the social side of being part of a sports clubs.

Established in 2006, we were in the first OTS branch outside London. We are now one of the largest LGBTQ+ sports groups in Brighton & Hove. We are also a part of Sussex ASA.

We all share a mutual passion for training with like-minded people and for being a part of an LGBTQ+ club. Out to Swim Brighton & Hove is open to all with a positive attitude. We are an all-gender-inclusive groups with members ranging from people in their 20s all the way to their 70s.

The club is an adult-only club therefore we do not accept members under the age of 18.

Training

We have mid-week evening sessions (Monday and Thursday) at the Prince Regent Pool in Brighton and a Saturday session at the King Alfred Pool in Hove. We also offer open-water swimming sessions in the sea of Brighton and Hove during the summer months.

Being near the sea, we have a large number of swimmers who swim outdoors and participate in open water races, as well as Triathlons. We always send many participants to Brighton’s Pier to Pier race and participate in the New Year’s Day Swim.
